CAUTION: Many popular charismatic franchise-chain pastors in North America falsely teach a pretribulational "rapture" and dispensationalism, both first promoted in the mid-1800s by two charlatans: Darby and Scofield. Nevertheless, those errors have become ingrained in Western "Christianity," and your beloved pastor will likely teach them. Just realize that it is chock-full of twisted and distorted snippets of verses taken out of context. Nowhere in the Old Testament or the New Testament is it taught. Also, most English translations of the Bible contain errors. The KJV is the most divisive version in the Western Church; it does not deserve the homage many misguided Christians give it. We've found the ESV to be reliable.
